Pakistan introduced a system which started the blocking of Mobile Phones for which duty/taxes had not been paid or they had not been registered. Becoming one of the few countries in the world to start a white list system. This was to curb smuggling.

Overseas Pakistanis and Pakistani travelers though were allowed to bring one phone and register it for free per year. Airport officials started stealing passenger data to legalize smuggled phones. However, rather than to curb corruption at airports, the government decided to take away the facility from Pakistanis. 

This affects overseas Pakistanis in particular and given their contributions to the economy this is unacceptable. We want this reversed. Mobile Phones are no longer a luxury but a necessity.
