Banning Polyester Uniforms

Banning Polyester Uniforms
Summers in Pakistan are terrible with scorching heat and high temperatures throughout. Security guards, police, traffic wardens, janitorial staff and the army on check-posts etc are all seen wearing uniforms made of polyester or of mix material which is unimaginable especially in the day time heat.
While all of us spend the entire day in air conditioned rooms - the people who are serving us and fulfilling their duties, just so they can put a roof over their heads and feed their families, spend the entire day, under the heat, in which most people can’t spend a few minutes and that too in polyester uniforms, which are a compulsion for them. They deserve a basic right to at least be allowed to wear cotton clothes.
Hoping this sheds light on the issue and can cause a change in the uniforms to be made to a comparatively light breathable material such as cotton. All the companies/organisations and people related should take a stand to implement this on a large scale level.
