This petition will highlight the need to educate the faction of Pakistani society who feel that by doing such heinous acts they are being loyal to the religion of Islam and even if their life is lost doing these acts they will to paradise. 

Such incidents of religious intolerance are increasing and there seems to be no concerted effort by the Government to educate the true spirit of Islam to such miss guided people.

Though the prime minister of Pakistan has strongly condemned the incident and called it a shameful act for the nation of Pakistan. These will remain only words unless he shows his will to address the issue and current laws related to blasphemy in Pakistan. It seems that the general public in Pakistan is scared of this faction of society in case their anger will turn against them. In the past, people were prosecuted for such acts but at the same time, there are people who treat them as heroes by building tombs over their graves to praise their heinous acts. 

By asking the people of Pakistan to sign this petition will put moral pressure on the Government who can involve the religious scholars and build a platform of reforms to educate the true spirit of Islam, a religion that teaches religious harmony.
