The Government of Ontario needs to deem all tattoo shops in the province of Ontario essential for the benefits towards mental health. The sensation of being tattooed stimulates dopamine production in the body which is of great benefit to those suffering from PTSD. Tattooing is a very productive alternative to self-harm behavior, such as ‘cutting”.
