Frank Pyatt started this petition to Government of Ontario

Changes should be made to allow cigar lounges in the Province of Ontario.  This is a very niche market, where like minded individuals can spend time together enjoying their favourite cigars over a glass of fine spirits, similar to how wine connoisseurs can go to a dedicated wine bar for their enjoyment.  Currently, one has to travel to the United States or to Montreal to enjoy the simple pleasure of enjoying a stogie in the comforts of a cigar bar.

Restrictions could be added such as a minimum age requirement for admission to the building of 25 years.  Signage on the doors could warn that tobacco is prevalent on the premises.  In order to acquire the license, their must be a humidor on site with a licensed tobacconist associated with the operation.  Mechanical systems could be mandated at minimum air exchanges per hour.  Of course, the use of the tobacco must be restricted to cigars ONLY with NO cigarettes or cannabis allowed.  I am sure that, through consultation, reasonable requirements could be established and implemented.

Please join me and sign this partition, and allow adults to once again participate in this classic pastime here in Ontario.
