Over the years, Financial Assistance and support for economic difficulties has always been geared towards Families with Kids, Seniors/Elderly, and other Vulnerable members of society. While I believe that the above demographics are very important part of our society, there's no doubt also that Adults who are without Kids contribute equally to the growth and success of society in general. A lot of Adults who are single even have more family oriented responsibilities that they shoulder emotionally, financially and otherwise. From time to time, things happen that requires governments to step in and assist one way or another. The trend has always been "give help or assistance to families with kid(s) based on number of kids, Seniors and the Elderly, other vulnerable members of the society". While these groups all deserve whatever assistance the government is giving and probably even more, there is a growing demography of the populace that is being overlooked either knowingly or unknowingly. This group is the Adults who are Single and have no Kids. Take the ongoing Pandemic as an Example, there are different types of relief programs for different sectors and different demographics but nothing takes care of Single Adults with no kids whose standard of living is also adversely affected by everything going on in society. Let us start this discussion/petition and guarantee that "No one is left behind on economic and financial programs anymore". I am "A Single Adult with no kids" it is not a crime nor is it a taboo.
