To whom it may concern, 

Over the past year many regulated family childcare homes have signed contracts to operate under the $25/dar operation grant program. While we believe the program is a step in the right direction there are many issues with the program that we believe are making it difficult for providers and need to be addressed before we enter into the proposed $10/day program or reapply for year two of the program. These issues Include things such as the steep drop in rate for infants changing to toddler. The time between submitting our stats and receiving payment. The formula for qualifying for enhanced rates. A detail of the amounts paid each quarter. These are just a few kinks in the program. We feel that without addressing these issues there will be more providers leave the program and perhaps the ECE field entirely. Below are a list of providers under the program that agree chances are going to need to be made ASAP to this ground breaking program. We are willing to work with government and offer suggestions to improve this program moving forward to benefit us all.
