We the people of Perth-Andover, Tobique, Aroostook, Plaster Rock, Carlingford, New Denmark, Kilburn, etc. and all surrounding areas, that need the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Perth-Andover, are greatly concerned about where the health care for our well-being is headed. It seems that the flood was a great excuse for cutbacks, and continued cutbacks on the resources we all need to maintain healthy and happy lives here. These cutbacks have and will continue to eliminate jobs and peoples lively-hood, as well as jeopardize more lives due to the the loss of our hospital. It is inhumane.
WE NEED OUR HOSPITAL HERE IN PERTH-ANDOVER!
It is not fair, nor humanely justifiable, to eliminate health-care or the hospital in this area. We don't deserve to risk life and limb, on the roads, in search of the basic health care we deserve to have here at home. Furthermore, emergencies will increase the probability of further injury or death, in the event that there is insufficient or no emergency care, here, in our own town.
We the people are asking you to intervene in this matter, to stop the agenda for the loss of our hospital, as we DO NOT accept this great and defining risk to our health and lives.
