Quoting from timesofmalta.com on 24th February, "Outdoor standing events will be allowed to resume without restrictions from April 11, while children would not need to wear masks in school after the Easter holidays, if COVID-19 cases remain under control.  Health Minister Chris Fearne announced further relaxation of measures as he gave an update on the COVID-19 situation in Malta."

When mass rallies and political activities are being held all around Malta at this time, this petition is to act as further eye-opener for the Local Government to realise the cultural importance of this Religious tradition for the Maltese in general, and allow for this event to be held on Friday the 8th of April 2022, as it should be.
