Rakesh Radhakrishnan started this petition to Government of Kerala

Today, the whole world is in awe of the coronavirus. As a result, many countries postpone not just celebrations and rituals but also vocational and educational activities as part of security precautions.

The Saudi has already abolished the Umrah in Mecca, the Facebook and Microsoft have turned down job conferences, and countries like Italy and the UAE have shut down schools and companies.

But at the same time, India is giving us the assumption that there are no security measures in place in the country eventhough 469 people are already under surveillance on corona threat.

Here, the government has granted permission to conduct the Attukal Pongala, a festival in which about 4 million people are about to take part. This may cause serious consequences for the public during the period of such a deadly epidemic. I am signing this petition to request that the Kerala Government should take the initiative to stop the Attukal Pongala this year in the public interest.
