It doesn't feel justified for Amitabh Bachchan to be the mascot of corona precaution information campaign, whose recorded message is being played as the caller tune  everytime a phone call is made.

There are multiple reasons why Amitabh is not a deserving individual to lead this public information campaign -

1. Amitabh has not contributed anything significant towards the war against the pandemic and its effects on humanity.

2. Amitabh himself along with his other family members got infected in the initial days of the pandemic.

3. Amitabh doesn't even remotely belong to any community (science, technology or welfare) which has expertise in the area.

It's a humble request to the Government of India and other concerned parties to look into this and act. There are many corona frontline warriors whose stories need to be told, and will bring more credibility to the message.
