This is to initiate a petition urging Govt of India to proactively make the patent for Covid drug Virafin public, and compensate Zydus from GoI treasury in order to ramp up the production.

Since the expected production capacity would only be 1Million doses by end June, which is a drop in an ocean, making the patent public could enormously help India tide over the current health emergency situation, to a great extent thru ramping up production of this key drug from Zydus Cadilla
