Remove Religious Hate Content Online and prosecute people promoting them

There is a lot of content online which promotes religious hatred against minorities and disharmony between different religious communities. Some examples of such content include hate music on YouTube channels like ‘Prem Krishnvanshi official’ or ‘Mayur music’ of Sandeep Acharya. Few examples are given below

Unfortunately due to lower education and awareness levels, this content is widespread particularly in the Hindi speaking population which is also reflected in number of subscribers of such youtube channels (>30,000)
This content among other things:
· Spreads hatred against minorities on the basis of malicious content and justifies use of violence against them
· Projects minorities in a bad light, or as against national interest or as traitor
Such content misleads people and spreads communal disharmony which is the single biggest threat to the unity and integrity of our country today.
As per section 153A of India Penal Code as well as per section 66A of Information Technology Act 2000, for spreading hate content online, there is a penal provision of imprisonment of upto 3 years. It is high time to remove derogatory and hate content online and bring the people behind them to book.
