No to unwarranted packaging by ecommerce companies.

Hi Friends,

I want to share my thought which instantly came to mind this morning. Please do share the same if you agree and have concerns on our environment.

I am a frequent buyer from online sites and in the recent past I have ordered too many products especially from Amazon and Flipkart, every time I receive the products I am impressed with their packing and the care they take about the product to be delivered to their customer. They also ask for review on the quality of their delivery.

When they are so focused on the delivery and customer services, they may also be keen about the cost they are spending on packing materials.

My advice to all these ecommerce business companies to just think about the ‘Go Green Initiative’, specially the paper / card board / plastic / cotton board used for packing.

Why can’t they ask for the customers to return the packing material to the delivery agent immediately after receiving the product safely in their hands. If they do so, the same material can be reused and the savings can be benefited back to the customers by a cash or goodies / can be used for a social cause. The companies can give the options to customers while purchasing if they are willing to return the packaging material.

As we all know after receiving the delivery most of us will throw the packing material to garbage and we all know how difficult is to get rid of these Garbage accumulation in the country and how challenging is for the government to handle this.

Think again…. Whether you will contribute to Garbage Accumulation and spoil your environment or Keeping your environment clean and save the natural resources by returning the packing material.

Thanks and Regards,
