Higher education for all interested students

In India, this year itself 837229 students passed class 12th from CBSE board. Apart from CBSE,there are many regional boards operating in India. So, the actual number of students who have passed class 12th this year would be almost double the number mentioned above. Now coming to the point, there are only few premier institution offering higher education namely Delhi University,IITs,IIMs,NITs,JNU and few other state universities. The number of seats available are also very few due to fewer number of premier institutions offering higher education.
The only exception here is Delhi University which has approximately 56000 seats for graduation courses across different fields. On the other hand,IITs have around 9800 seats for B.tech, NITs have around 17000.If we total this, only 82800 seats are there in premier institutions for approximately 20 lacs people passing secondary school every year. This is the scenario at graduation level. At Post Graduation level, the situation gets more worse,IIMs have around 4200 seats and Delhi University has only 200 seats for MBA.
Amongst all this chaos, students who come from poor background and are willing to pursue higher education are the sufferers. The middle class and rich take admissions in private institutions and get their degree which certainly has low or no value as compared to the degree of a premier institution.
The current government has been in power for 3 years now and students are still waiting for their good days(अच्छे दिन).सबका साथ, सबका विकास will only happen when all the students of the nation gets the chance to gain knowledge and degree from premier institutions at affordable prices.
The government should now wake from its slumber and do something to increase the number of seats as soon as possible.
'Education is a noble profession' is an old saying but it seems to have lost its essence in modern day theory. The private institutions are charging too much even their degrees have less value then the premier institutions. The government should make some law for these institutions regarding the fee structure and ensure their strict enforcement.
So, I hereby start this petition and request you all to sign it so that it reaches the concerned ministry and some action is taken.
