North Indians need to be protected against racial discrimination which they are being subjected at the hands of people from other regions of India, the idea of India is inclusive of being a land of diversity, yet of unity. Government of India, and State Governments of Telengana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka in particular should take actions to prohibit and to eliminate racial discrimination in all its forms and to guarantee the right of every Indian and in particular observe special protection for North Indians, without distinction as to race, colour or statehood or ethnic origin, to equality before the law and social equality, according to the 1965 International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, notably in the enjoyment of political, civil, economic, social and cultural rights. The Indian Government and respective State Governments should also assure effective protection and remedies against any acts of racial discrimination.
