Dear Government Of India,
I'm Here To Inform You That, IT is a “Immense Industry” and the IT employees irrespective of their cadre are eligible to fixed working hours and compensation for working beyond that time limit.
Currently IT employee/officers don't have any fixed working hours and are expected to sit late hours without compensation and that is a practice of British Imperial Regime. There is 'NO' Law Of Fix Working Hours In India.
The fact is IT employee also have families and also need time for them and their family.
As per the private sectors company, one have to work 12-14 hours a day. The private firms/MNC's actually expects its employee/manager to be in office for almost all his waking hours. A typical manager/team lead is expected to sit late and work on Sundays and holidays(One Of My relative Worked On Independence Day Also). All this without any incentive, like overtime pay for the extra hours put in. A typical manager/team lead, therefore reaches office around 9 am and leaves office not sooner than 8 pm. Depending on where he is working, and if one takes into account commute time, one can imagine, if the employee really has a life outside his workplace.
