Dear Chairpeople

It is with a tinge of sadness that I compose this note, seeking your help in historical errors being redressed, rectified and restated just as they should be.

We all know that the History of India has been misrepresented in many ways, starting with retro-fitting of IVC all the way to 1991, where data has been conveniently twisted, hidden or half-truths peddled, as per the Editorial Committee's whims, fancies and political affiliations.

Of them all, I believe the worst is the normalization of the Mughal behaviour, wherein they are presented as a set of continuous rulers (they aren't!) and they are some benevolent rulers who came here for redeeming us savages (they weren't, and we aren't!).

Accordingly, it is being represented through this petition that

(a) the exact history of Mughals be retold,

(b) their rout in Ferghana & their forced migration to Hindustan be frankly spoken of,

(c) their discontinuous rule over the vast country of India (Kandahar to Kanyakumari to Kamakhya) be accurately talked about,

(d) their rout at the hands of Indian rulers be explained sufficiently, and

(e) their atrocities, flagrant behaviour & incestuous lives be fully documented.

We believe you are all in the seats of power to make the real difference. As tax-paying, honest, sincere, purposeful, well-meaning citizens, we seek you to support this effort, for the sake of the whole truth being passed on to our generations ahead.
