I am currently working on a project to empower women who live in a financially weak background to help them have their own identity in society by providing them with a helping hand to start their own business or improve the current one. To understand the problems what these women hawkers face i decided to take a short interview of them and recently i had visited a road side market called the Banjara market near my house in Gurgaon in sector 56. The biggest problem i found out was that not even a single hawker had their aadhar card made. Asking them what is the reason the reply i got was very sad to hear they said no one cares about us who live on the streets and no one takes the initiative to help us out. There was a campaign which started when the last elections happened that aadhar pauche ga ghar ghar but i want to say that aadhar nahi paucha ghar ghar. After interviewing one woman i got to know that how she isnt able to provide her children with education because for school admission aadhar card is compulsory. A right to education is what every child deserves and should be provided irrespective of the circumstances. Due to this these hawkers aren't able to verify their small businesses and are facing numerous problems. I just have one request to the government that please provide all the Indian citizens with equal opportunity and rights. #aadhar nahi paucha ghar ghar
