Don't kill our opportunities, we need jobs.

Unemployment has become a curse for youth today, despite attaining higher degree we are not getting appropriate jobs anywhere. The kind of pressure we are facing is really severe and it haunting all of us each and every moment. coming from a lower middle-class family we don't have enough opportunity around us due to lack resources. we depend on government jobs largely because private sectors is also facing the crisis at this moment.

In such an atmosphere we largely depend on government vacancies to fulfill our aspiration and needs of day to day life. what we have been saying in last few years is that the no of vacancies in government jobs has been drastically reduced in last few years.

private sector growth is minimal and job growth is at lowest in last few years. There is no real growth in any sector of the economy in the real sense. The labor bureau data shows the declining job growth in labor-intensive sectors like textile, leather etc. The economic growth is visible just because of base year change and just a result of data manipulations. IIP data show no such growth in any major sectors of an economy.

I being a civil services aspirant has witnessed the major shift in changing examination pattern and reducing vacancies year by year. It becomes tough for us to compete in such an unpredictable atmosphere. The state commissions are full of corruptions and we often face problems in competing fairly in examinations. The story is similar in lower level examinations like SSC CGL, Railways and other departments.

if the private sector is not growing properly, we don't understand the logic behind reducing vacancies in government jobs.

Being a student of sociology, I sense situation as very alarming and making youth very restlessness. there are agents of radicalisation present in society who are trying to divert these unsatisfied youth in various anti-social activities. If the situation not properly dealt it may lead to other social problem. It's a responsibility of government to channelise the energy in proper manner use them in nation building.

I urge Government to look into the issue and do take appropriate action to cater the needs of the youth of India.
