Jammu and Kashmir is the land of sufis and saints. Jammu is known as the 'City of Temples' whereas Kashmir a 'Paradise on Earth'. No religious book permits consumption of alcohol. We the people of Jammu and Kashmir are rich in morality and spirituality. 

            If there is ban on the liquor in the holy town of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi  then why the liquor shops just adjacent to the world famous Raghunath Temple and other religious places?  Recently, we have seen liquor shops mushrooming near schools, hospitals and residential areas despite strict resistance by the public.

            If liquor is injurious to health then why the liquor shops ? The world is passing through a difficult phase of pandemic. We need hospitals not liquor shops.

          If the States and UTs like Gujrat, Bihar, Tripura, Lakshadweep etc. are dry then why not Jammu and Kashmir ? If you want roll back of Excise Policy from Jammu and Kashmir, raise your voice and join our signature campaign.
