Ghana does not have any Medical laboratory policy that governs biomedical science practice. In view of this the foundation of our medical system and practices is badly shaky and this was revealed by the recent Covid-19 pandemic. Regarding this sad news , Governmant has made a petition to formulate policies that govern the practice of medical laboratory Science in Ghana. This is very important and need to be done as early as possible. If this is done , Ghana would be able to commission many Labs to also pull their shoulders together and work to eliminate this pandemic.
