The Genocidal Killings on Innocent Amhara Civilians especially those living in Oromia Region of Ethiopia, has continued unabated for the past three years. These barbaric killings on men, women and even children are being perpetrated by a terorists group called OLA, according to the government. Ethiopians at large, take into consideration that the country is in fact in a much bigger scale of Ethnic based conflicts, even war in the northern part of the country. Hence we understand the federal government may have a lot on its plate , but that seems to be given as an excuse for the failure in protecting those citizens repeatedly.However, this is happening in a relatively peaceful region of Oromia with a much stronger security apparatus of hundreds of thousands of Special Forces. Moreover the Killings are taking place on mainly ethnic Amharas, to that effect there are also allegations that the regional government is helping the perpetrators in logistics and by not standing on their way. What is more disturbing is the Federal Government almost always stays completely silent and indifferent to these killings, which we believe has given rise to the level. We have had enough and we need an explanation from the government.
