As a proud Canadian citizen and an active member of society here in Vancouver, BC Canada. It has come to my concern that we are dealing with an issue in regards to people dealing with mental health issues, drug addictions and people with no housing. We are witnessing the city council and the government not doing anything about the huge amounts of homeless people here in the city of Vancouver. It's come to a point where the safety of the everyday person is at risk, speaking not just from experience. Being one of the most expensive cities to live in currently and with high volumes of money going into the pockets of the government in multiple ways from tax payees, transit, tourism etc. I refuse to believe that there is not time or abundant supply of capital to invest into making housing and new improved rehabilitation centres, mental health clinics and hospitals with good infrastructure here in the city of Vancouver and Lower mainland as well. This petition is to bring attention to the issues of increasing assault and safety issues being cause by the helpless people who are not stable enough to be a part of functioning society, who are getting no help and are left to wander the streets, and who are sadly jeopardizing the safety of people.
Sign this petition if you support the cause, if you want to help the helpless and change the city as well. For your safety and wellbeing as for the future generations to come as well.
