Canada just closed its borders to everyone except Canadian and American citizens. We need to close the border to American citizens.
The United States' handling of COVID-19 has not been sufficient. Current projections of viral spread have the US on an exponential curve. Keeping our borders open to US citizens puts Canadians at risk.
Our largest land border is with the United States. Seattle is currently approaching Italy's scale of infection. Allowing US citizens to enter the country at this point in time is highly irresponsible and will undermine the efforts Canadians are putting in to minimize the spread of the virus.
