Allow homeless tents in off-season provincial campgrounds

Poverty and homelessness is a rampant crisis in BC, and while policies are being worked on, something is needed now. Setting up tents are a last-resort and often an impromptu reality for many of those around us. Provincial campgrounds close in the off-season around this time of year, and are not being put to any use while those on the streets desperately need somewhere secure to stay, somewhere to feel safe and to not be on the move constantly; this is not only morally right, but it is a human right. Camping in parks currently is illegal, with law enforcement frequently kicking out homeless people who have nowhere else to go. Utilizing campgrounds keeps tents in a secure and single location, rather than dispersed and difficult to monitor, and  also away from the crime and hustle of city streets. I believe that our numerous provincial campgrounds serve as the best place to house these good and honest people with this profound struggle confronting their lives. These parks are otherwise not being used, and I respectfully urge you to sign this before the winter hiatus begins! This is an issue of compassion and humanity. Thanks.
