Ms Ley, we know the machinations of the Liberal Party with the Minerals Council of Australia, "consultants" Crosby Textor, and big corporate Australia. Bribes masquerading as 'donations', multi-million dollar smear campaigns against anyone who stands up for conservation and clean energy if it dares get in the of more profits for your toxic donors, and threats against ministers who don't bow down to those businesses and peak bodies who fund the Liberal party coffers. Oh yes, you skate around the halls of Canberra believing ordinary Australians are far too self-involved to notice the destruction of Australian democracy and the cancerous corruption your spineless party has allowed to infect Australian politics with. The Liberal party prostituted its ethics to the highest bidder a long time ago and the bastards from corporate Australia - especially fossil fuel - are now indistinguishable from government. There's no line between government and business. Your party has allowed these lines to blur so much, it's fair to say Australia is now run by corporate Australia, and the heinous cottage industry of 'consultants' and lobby groups' that grew up under such bad leadership and management of our precious democracy, is now a multi-billion dollar venture whose sole purpose is to steal every last natural resource from Australia, mindless of any innocent people or animals that are collateral damage along the way. A tangled web of political corruption so fantastic nobody would believe if it were fiction.

But it’s not fiction. It’s so much worse. We know exactly the sharks you swim with trying to be an environment minister, but I can’t give you a free pass. I'm simply exposing this disgraceful and shonky web of lies that has exploited our political processes and made a mockery of voters wishes and democracy for the people. You can bow down like stooge Melissa Price did - who far from protecting the environment - actively facilitated all the paperwork to let businesses destroy our environment. Or you can have the backbone to stand up to this disgusting collaboration of rich white men who flow back and forth from politics to lobby groups to consultants, round and round and round, damaging the planet and faster than nature can replenish it, just to make the uber-wealthy a little bit more wealthy. I have no illusion that you hold very much power at all, Ms Ley. So my question to you is simply this: how much of this bulls*t are you prepared to put up with to keep your job? How much is too much until you speak out against what’s going on in Australian politics today? How strong is your character and conscience? How much of Australia's future are you prepared to prostitute away and see perish because it was "too hard" to stand up to a bunch of rich white men? It's your legacy and your conscience. Ms Price’s was non-existent and that shall be her legacy forever. What's it going to be for you Ms Ley? "Stand up for what's right, even if you stand alone", or "shut up and put up" while the nation burns and our animals become extinct?
Fellow Australians, this is the most corrupt government in living memory. Clinging to an outdated myth that you have to give your vote to one of the big parties or its wasted, was your downfall in 2019. Labor is just as corrupt. We have no ‘Opposition’ party in Australia. The only ones trying to keep the bastards honest are The Greens and awesome independents like Zali Steggall. Please keep speaking up for whats right, it’s a good fight, but more importantly, come the next federal election, look for parties and people who don’t accept “donations” from big corporate and who don’t have ties to fossil fuel. We have less than 10 years to turn the ship around before the calamity coming from climate change is irreversible, and we have less than 2 decades before our national icon is extinct forever. Australians deserve better than this.

SHAME! We MUST save species for future generations! To do that, we MUST save their habitat, food & water sources.

The federal government has been next to useless at protecting our wilderness and wildlife (mostly because they can't help themselves from being corrupted by big political donors like fossil fuel and their bastard attack dogs (eg: the Minerals Council), but they sure as hell cannot give the states any more power over environmental decisions!!! The states have spent the last 20 years proving they will see the last tree felled if it means appeasing either a donor or a political allegiance (ie: the National party). They have been even worse at acting as guardians of our native animals, and our life-giving waterways and forests, that will by the way help us battle irregular rainfall patterns and climate change).

The federal government MUST NOT continue down the dangerous direction it seems to be angling towards of dismissing its own responsibility (too-hard-basket) and leaving it the states to decide our environment's fate. Nature does not recognise state boundaries and ecosystems work in symphony. Please Ms Ley, wrest control of environmental law back into federal hands, and take a decisive stand for what's right and ethical here. I'm tired of the Coalition pandering to political donors. 'Green tape' as you morons call it, is simply a critical analysis of what ecosystems we humans are f****g up so we don't accidentally terminate our own species with our short-sighted, money-hungry, selfish bastard exploitative ways. That 'green tape' exists for a reason, you arrogant, myopic, sellouts.

The destruction of this habitat was cruel, without any regard for the precious lives of endangered Koalas, whose natural habitat was destroyed for logging. The owner chose to kill those Koalas because it was cheaper than having rescuers relocate them.
