All Assam Association of Skill Development Institutions started this petition to government of assam

This is an online petition from all the stakeholders related to skill development institutions whether it’s an Art school / music school / computer institutions / dance school / tailoring institute or any kind of skill development centers/institutions.
Private Institutions are worst effected due to this COVID-19 pandemic. During first wave of last year, institutions and coaching centers are closed for 8 months. This year too private coaching institutions are closed since mid of the March.
As a responsible business community it’s must be our social commitment to fight against COVID situation and we should comply with Government SOP and Guidelines. But this SOP is not fair enough where private educational institutions are in total lockdown.
We need a SOP for private coaching centers and institutions so that we can operate under Government guidelines
If Beauty Parlour (which operates with close proximity) / Gym (where everyone is more exposed due to sweat & heavy breathing) / shopping mall (where there is no restrictions on number of people) can operate with government guidelines then why an educational institutions can not deliver their service to our young generation?
Does education and skill development is less essential than beauty and shopping?
Institutions and coaching centers also contribute in economic growth and as important (may ve little more essential) as others. By closing down all private institutions completely will generate more unemployment for the society.
Our humble request to the Government of Assam to let us operate with strict COVID guidelines without imposing full lockdown.
