Vinukonda is a long forgotten area in terms of government developmental schemes. To be precise, whole Narasaraopet area is under developed when compared to other areas in Guntur district. Nevertheless this area produced a gem of students.

But, proper higher education institutions are still a longing desire for the students of this region. As a fact, no engineering college is there in a radius of 45 km. A veterinary university was proposed and discarded by the eariler government. A medical college is at a distance of 90km even as per the government's latest decision to start 12 new colleges in the state. A medical college is decided to establish in Piduguralla which is at a distance of 90 km, inin Markapur which is at a distance of 90 km, Bapatla which is at a distance of 105 km.

Now, we, the people of Vinukonda request the government to kindly consider this issue to establish a government medical college, a government engineering college and eariler promised veterinary college which will not only benefit the students here, but also helps to develop the overall region. We hope that our government is very people centric and our young and dynamic CM sir will look into this matter positively to change this area into a educational hub.
