We live in a world where a lot of us in the world have to wear a mask not only for COVID-19 but for air pollution. This is causing climate change impact in the whole world. Maybe we don’t realize this due to the fact that we see this as a problem that is years away from affecting us, but that is a lie.  Climate change has affected a lot of people causing thousands of people to move out of their native lands into other countries. Some of these countries have the capacity to take that number of migrants but a lot of them are not that capacitated.

I am writing this petition to the government of all the countries and to its citizens. It is in us to stop this and to help people who have suffered leaving their homes to move due to climate change. We are in control of the situation, it’s still not too late to start doing small things that can cause a great impact. We can change this. I want to ask the governments worldwide to create a law that reduces emissions and to make sure the people follow it. And I want to ask the people to start with the small like separating the trash or riding a bike. Small changes have big outcomes.

You may be in the lucky ones who has not yet suffered because of climate change, and let’s hope you never do. But think about this. Due to the CO2 level in Australia the emissions released cause a wildfire that took months to put out. The wildfires affected a lot of people, imagine one day you are just going to school with your friends and the next day all of your stuff is burned, and you don’t have a house anymore and you have to leave to a whole new world to start over. Does that sound like something you would want?
