Dear Friends

It is Now or Never

Last year director Dayal Padmanabhan had started a petition in change.org urging the Karnataka Govt to cap tickets at Rs 120/- in Multiplexes of the state. KM Veeresh and Kirik Keerthi were among those fighting for this cap for years now.

This year with KFCC and KFPA raising their voice in support Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had announced in the Budget for 2017-18 that Rs 200/- per ticket is the maximum price in multiplexes. Another proposal was to include two Kannada films in prime time screening. The budget proposals usually come into effect from 1st April.

This has not happened now in the case of multiplex tickets. Even today ticket prices in multiplexes are priced heavily. Let the budget announcement not become a false promise.

So we are requesting all concerned film lovers and audience to SIGN THIS PETITION till it reaches Karnataka Government and the Rs 200 cap in Multiplexes is implemented immediately.
