Environmental issues impact our fundamental rights. Governments have to take the climate crisis as a social issue and make it a central governance axis. Although it is necessary to modify our consumption habits, the institutional policy must act. Companies are responsible, to no small extent, for environmental degradation. If Governments do not have the political will to take the lead, the consequences will be tragic and inevitable.‌However, Hyderabad still is not prepared enough to face the consequences of climate change, this petition is dedicated to those who don't have an idea about the action that Hyderabad is taking against climate change and how their effort is making a difference. 

When asked about the lack of targets and goals for the NCAP (National Clean Air Program), an official stated that if all of these 32 safeguards were not implemented, air pollution in Hyderabad would have increased from 2003 to 2010. Between 2011 and 2015, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) identified 94 Indian cities as nonattainment cities, including Telangana's Hyderabad and Nalgonda, where air pollution levels, particularly Particulate Matter, were consistently higher than the minimum criteria. Hyderabad came up with many steps to control any problem with the climate, however not many are able to hold and finish its task, Hyderabad is also making camps for public awareness on reducing greenhouse gas emissions such as CO(carbon monoxide) from cars and are adding more pollution check centers. This petition is created to spread awareness of the cities effort on helping society become a safer place from climate change.
