Consultations are currently in place to make the COVID-19 mandatory for NHS staff. Whilst this seems the best way to protect patients and staff from catching or spreading the virus I fear the NHS will come off worse if mandatory vaccines are given the go ahead. Compulsory vaccines are not only a breach of human rights but it also puts NHS staff under extreme pressure and produces a heavier work load then they are already experiencing by losing qualified, experienced and valued colleagues. This could then create a knock on effect causing staff sickness from the pressure of their workload.  If an organisation doesn’t have enough staff it becomes inadequate as they’re then unable to provide a safe and effective environment. Ask yourself “would you rather a professional save your life or a loved ones life that is unvaccinated or be less unfortunate because they were inexperienced but vaccinated?”
We are all so fearful of this horrible deadly virus but it’s been said that being vaccinated DOES NOT stop the spread of it! If you’ve chosen to have your vaccine then you’ve done your part in protecting yourself as much as you possibly can so why risk losing important life saving NHS staff (that put their own lives on the line during the pandemic to save others) by forcing something upon them that could ruin their future and even their lives when it should be a personal decision to protect themselves?

Thank you for taking the time to read this
