This petition is by 'The Team Emma Campaign'
We are creating awareness for Cervical Cancer and sharing the heart breaking, long road we went down as a family and with Emma.
Emma was diagnosed with a rare cervical cancer called neuroendocrine carcinoma in May 2014. Emma begged and pleaded with doctors for a smear test until they eventually gave Emma one. The bad news - yes you have cancer, and the treatment that you will need to survive this will leave you infertile but the good news..you will be living and eventually cured. Emma started her treatment, the future looked hopeful with every appointment the tumour was slowly but surely shrinking. Until 8 months down the line, in December Emma revisited the hospital for an oncologists appointment where she was told the cancer had spread and it was now terminal cancer with only 6 months to live.
No young girls and woman should have their life's snatched so cruelly away from them. We are fighting for a better future for younger generations, to also look after our lady gardens. Please sign and share this petition to help Emma's dream come true through helping other young girls like Emma herself!
