At the minute in schools and colleges windows have to be open to circulate the air this is a problem for many students with asthma and other health problems, it can also lead to people having colds and then ruining schools with cold symptoms being confused with COVID-19 symptoms meaning students are self isolating. You have to think of the children in this and make a change. Why doesn’t who ever is making this rule sit outside in the cold then go into a class room with windows open and coats off (that’s the English education rules) and see if you’re able to warm up in the room. This has to change and a new plan needs to be bought in as winter rolls in as pupils can’t be expected to learn in freezing environment. Just a few years ago schools got closed for broken boilers and now you expect them to freeze. The heating bills of many places will be massive at the moment and places could start to struggle to find the money needed. This would result in many children falling ill. This is terrible to our pupils in school and will make the country in look poor in terms of grades with students unable to work in freezing environments. CLOSE WINDOWS, MAKE THE CHANGE, HAVE A NEW PLAN, IT HAS TO HAPPEN RIGHT NOW WITH NO EXCUSES!!!
