Freedom of expression in schools

I believe that in most schools over the UK, students should be allowed to dye their hair, wear their own choice of clothing and have piercings.

Students shouldn't have to hide their identity at school, and expressing themselves will most likely make students happier in the school day.

It is not more likely that a student will get bullied for their clothing.

Freedom of expression is a basic human right, and the current laws aren't allowing this throughout most schools.

Forcing students to look 'professional' is wrong.

The goal is to make students free to express themselves, and have a sense of identity.
