People who live full time on boats in marinas or in mobile homes in parks have been told they're not eligible for the energy rebate of £400 because they are on metered electricity! 

Most pre load their electricity account and then use this 'credit'. How are they any different to any other prepay meter uses?

Companies like Meter-Mac could pass on the government rebate by crediting individual's accounts, just as the electricity Companies will do.

Please sign this petition to ensure the government honours its commitment to all energy users! Many people who live on boats or in mobile homes are on very low incomes and struggle already to make ends meet! Why should those on high incomes be eligible but these people are marginalised?
