HMS STUDENTS started this petition to Government

There are many people who have shown change for this cause, and they recognize the problem. The World Health Organization stated that the general assembly of the UN recognized access to safe and clean drinking water was important and was a human right, and called for “international efforts” to help countries provide safe water for everyone. A quote from Harvard University states, “Recently, the government announced that Bolivia will meet its overall Millennium Development Goal for access to safe drinking water three years ahead of schedule, with 88 percent overall coverage achieved in 2010.” This clearly shows that people have made progress, and more than the government has thought they would. There is still the question why the government themselves don’t show great effort, but at least many people are showing movement towards the problem. In conclusion, we can see that many people have shown progress in helping out for clean water and sanitation, and there has definitely has been a good change in the problem.
