HS2 project has already cost billions of pounds and it isn't anywhere near being finished yet. 

HS2 threatens much of our countryside and according to the Woodland Trust threatens many of our ancient woods.

During this pandemic it has shown us we are able to use modern technology to run businesses. Being able to work from home can reduce our impact on the environment whilst still getting the job done. Meetings can be done via online platforms instead of uneccesarry travel. 

The billions of pounds spent on this project, could have been spent on updating the current infrastructure and other organisations such as the NHS where the money was/is more needed.
