#DussheraBurnBan #SaveTheEnvironment

The whole world is racing catastrophic environment conditions and breathing polluted air especially the city like Delhi. We the citizens specially the young educated ones have to take responsibility and take action to collectively save our environment. The least we can do is stop the actions that cause more harm and worsen the situation further.

On Dusshera, as a tradition in North India we burn the idol of Ravana and his brothers to show the end of the era of evil. Though very fascinating and highly symbolic, it creates a lot of pollution. There is a competition on which Ramleela has the biggest statue and the bigger the statue, more pollution it creates. 100s of idols are burnt.

On this Dusshera, I go ahead and plead my government, all the Ramleela committee and my fellow citizens to not burn the idols of Ravana rather focus on burning our inner demons. Let's together find out more eco friendly ways of celebrating the win of good over evil.
