A total of 351 people die each year as a result of choking incidents, and experts are raising awareness for parents of young children.

Hard boiled sweets are in the top 12 dangerous choking hazards so why are we still allowing our children access to these lollies which can easily pull off the stick when sucking. 

Choking is fast becoming one of the biggest causes of accidental death for under 5s
Food is the most likely cause, but small objects such as toys can also be risky for young children too. I’ve witnessed my daughter choke & stop breathing but luckily acted fast. It’s not something you soon forget & 1 lolly is certainly not worth a child’s precious life .
