Baby formula to be a set price in all shops

As a parent of a newborn I don't think it's right that independent shops and supermarkets can charge a different price for the same product being fed to a baby. If big retailers are buying it cheaper than smaller corner shops this should also be a set price from the supplier of the product.
Why are we not following the same rules set by foreign countries for instance in Switzerland a pack of cigarettes is the same price no matter where you go.
Italy you pay the same price for fuel no matter where you go. I am sure there are many other items.
Aptamil costs £11 in most supermarkets but from the local garage it costs £12.39
Not everyone can get to the local supermarket so a convenience shop is all they have.
