The Republicans across the world in more than 20 states have legislation attacking the human rights of gay and transgender people and LGBTQ kids that put their lives at risk. These bills attempt to erase the very idea that LGBTQ people exist in our society.

They propose to prevent transgender people from obtaining and continuing to receive life-saving medical care. They compel state employees, including teachers, to determine if children present "non-gender-conforming attributes" and if so to notify their parents. They would identify minors up to the age of 21 in North Carolina to prevent them from receiving medical care( base on what i've read), these bills go so far as to make it a criminal act for doctors to provide care to transgender patients based on best practices as determined by hundreds of world-renowned organizations. There is so much more, this is just some of the worst.

In each state LGBTQ communities, parents, allies, and civil rights organizations are fighting to prevent these bills from becoming laws but this is such a widespread National effort to attack and even erase our LGBTQ brothers and sisters, children, grandparents, teachers, doctors, friends, and neighbors, that we need a National effort to combat it. I hope we can count on your help to put a stop once and for all to these attacks.
