My name is Megan and I’m starting this petition in the hope something can be done towards knife crime and the media outlet surrounding it I hold this matter very close to my heart as I am someone who has lost someone to knife crime  Every single day there’s a new news story that a young soul has lost their life due to knife crime every single day a family has to be told they have lost their loved one to this but yet it still carries on and it’s not just adults it’s children as young as 13,14 years of age carrying them it’s no longer safe to go outside or even walk to the shop the families victims have to read every inch of a article that has been wrote about there loved one with cctv often being put out along with it why should the families or even anybody have to watch something like that there’s just no privacy what so ever it’s totally unacceptable kids get given ideas and people have to suffer emotionally from it I’m sure there’s lots of parents out there that feel the same way we just want to be safe and assured our children are safe to
