We, a group of civil service aspirants who are ever enthusiastic to the cause of nation building, humbly present before  the goverment  hardships endured during our last attempt in the Civil Service examination in 2020-21. While many of us personally suffered from covid, others had to take care of family members elderly  who were affected by covid and there were also those of us who were on the call of duty to serve the nation as Frontline service providers as doctor ,police personal, nurse and other essential service staff .

With all due respect sir, we wish to bring to your kind notice that we suffered huge blows in terms of preparation while attending the three different stages of the examination. Unfortunately we are left with no attempt to remedy our loss on account of the pandemic.
We humbly pray for your kind consideration of our plea on compassionate grounds. The request is only to grant us a single chance, a one-time relaxation in age and attempt to compensate for the hardships and uncertainties caused by the pandemic. Sir, the dream to succeed in the examination is nourished through years of consistent and persistent hard work. But none of us were ever prepared for such an unexpected turn of events in our last attempt.

The honourable Supreme Court had empathetically acknowledged the plight of us last attempt aspirants by asking us to make representation to the Executive and had even urged the Government to take a lenient and sympathetic stand in this regard.
Sir, as per data shared by UPSC to the honourable Supreme Court, a mere 10,336 aspirants, which is less than 1% of all candidates who applied for the exam in 2020, had their last attempt in 2020 or were age barred for 2021. With great expectations, we anguished few are anxiously waiting for your kind hearted response on our plea. We request with folded hands that you kindly take a sympathetic stand on our wish to appear in the Civil Service Examination to be held in 2022.

We are not asking any job but a fair chance to appear in civil service some of the state already have relaxed like UP, Orrissa State Public Service Commission , UGC has relaxed and increased two year for NET /JRF infact goverment has relaxed and deviced promotion criteria for university and board exam this was unexceptional time and remedy is with the government.  

Through this  petition if we aspirants get just this one chance and, “Even if one of our fellow civil service aspirant’s dream of clearing the examination comes true”, the country will get one of its best for the services of the nation. We only pray that please  support our casue spread our messsge and let   judgment in this regard rewards our hopes and aspirations for a brighter future.
