All over the city of Philadelphia, PA no matter where you travel you will eventually come across someone living on the streets.  In many cases they will not only be homeless, but will also appear to be emotionally/mentally unstable.  In some cases they will also be drug addicted.  There is nothing more heart breaking than seeing another human being sitting on the ground in the dead of winter asking for help.  Some use bus stops or train stations as a form of shelter, while others drift from place to place in hopes of survival.  On occasion, the city will come out and do a temporary clean up.  This band aide only removes the eye-soar but does nothing for the route of the issue.  They need need support to get back on track.  They need assistance in order to recovery form whatever went wrong in their lives.  While it might be factual that some of them caused their live to become undone; everyone deserves the opportunity to start over again.  We all make mistakes.  No, we can not save everyone but we can sure try to help those who will except the assistance they so desperately need.  Those in need help come from in all ethnicity's,  ages, and backgrounds.  The degradation of the streets is no respecter of persons.  All are welcomed to be devoured.  And if we as a society don't do something to help they will surely be destroyed.
