Amidst a surge in COVID-19 cases, over one lakh students of classes 10 and 12 have signed petitions urging the government to either cancel board exams scheduled to be held in May or conduct them in online mode, But no one is considered about the class 11th students.

Class 12th is one of the biggest milestone in a student's life.

However, both the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have conducted class 9th and class 11th final exams through online mode and have started class 12th portion. Where as the Karnataka PU board is planning to conduct class 11th exams in July in offline mode ,the government is risking students life and also wasting time of class 11th students as we have to write the competitive exams next year.The situation in India is getting worse day by day. Like other states(Tamil Nadu,Maharashtra,Assam etc) have cancelled their Class 11th exams, We urge the Education Minister of Karnataka to look into this matter and cancel all examinations to be held this year(2021) as students are already under a lot of stress.I request the Government to Cancel all the examinations this year on behalf of students
