The Kings Case / Bradford Boys
There are current laws in the United States that are "supposed" to protect familes with disabilities.....yet they are not being utilized.
In September of 2014 a loving family experienced a tragedy no family should ever have to endure. It was then that Child Protective Services became involved with the Kings Family.
Brandi King is the mother of two beautiful boys with health issues. Her own struggle with diabetes makes her more aware and empathetic towards her children. Her youngest even had a feeding tube for the first 8 months of his life and her older child has Autism and ADHD.
There are 3, notable, law breaking tragedies in the Kings case.
1. The entire families disabilities were all overlooked. The boys and the mother were all legally considered disabled and received SSI.
2. Their due process right to a speedy trial was violated. Their first appearance in court was 28 days after the children were initially taken.
3. They took a child who at the age of 11, "who was improving in school" and placed him in a mental hospital. He had never before been in one let alone needed to be placed in one.
The violation of rights that Americans are experiencing is tragic. Their children experienced no abuse at home so why where they taken and placed under Child Protective Services care?
All for Federal Funding! State of Kentucky you have been Caught Red Handed!!!!
