It is important the Oklahoma's government take every effort to protect its citizens: school children, men, women and all citizens. For Oklahoma's government not to have demanded and built tornado shelters all over Oklahoma (Center of Tornado Alley) years ago is tantamount to a crime against humanity.
My whole family is in Oklahoma and not only that, after all the recent storms it just goes to show that this is only going to get worse. Global warming is rearing her ugly head and destroying lives and families. Let's do everything we possibly can to prevent casualties!
I have a child in the Moore Public schools and it should be mandatory for old an new schools alike to have storm shelters. I was flabbergasted to see the children in the hallway when I went to pick up my daughter. I hope this changes this year.
I am a caring person and would like to see all children and teachers and volunteers safe as they can be, during our tornado season. I have a grandson in elementary school and friends with school children. I want them to be safe. Losing a home is one thing, it can be replaced, BUT not the life of a child or adult........
