Please join us in SUPPORT for opening up O`ahu in a balanced manner - guided by science, data and common sense - with the goals of protecting our physical, emotional, social and financial HEALTH.

·      Continue to promote public safety measures:  When sick-stay home, Wash hands, Wear a mask, Watch social distancing, and avoid large gatherings.  Mandate public 6-feet social distancing, and mask-wearing other than with outdoor distanced exercise, prohibitive medical conditions, and under 2 years of age.

·      OPEN parks, beaches, hiking trails, and other outdoor recreational activities.  ENFORCE safety rules via consistent fines/citations.  Medical experts note that outdoor activities/settings are LOW-RISK situations that are helpful in maintaining physical and mental HEALTH and in strengthening IMMUNITIES that will protect against COVID19 and other viruses/disease.  (It makes no sense to block much needed health-promoting settings).

·      OPEN community businesses that can and will PROMOTE and ASSURE public safety – through regular sanitation practices and requiring of 6 foot distancing and PROPER mask-wearing in their businesses.  Encourage outdoor operations.  ENFORCE safety rules and hold the specific business responsible for any violations- via fines and business closing for at least 2 weeks.  Allowing safe businesses to operate will reduce emotional and financial stressors for owners and workers, and help to maintain the health of our economy. (It makes no sense to destroy businesses and family livelihood if they are properly practicing all safety measures).

·      OPEN up our communities and seriously ticket/shutdown those people/businesses that violate the rules, INSTEAD OF LOCKING US ALL DOWN.
